The Pyramid dive site in Eilat features an artificial metal pyramid-shaped structure built in the 1990s. Over time, the structure has been colonized by many red corals. In fact, the pyramid is divided into four levels so that the students from the Institute of Marine Biology can conduct experiments on coral growth.
The Pyramid rests on the seafloor at a depth of about 32 meters (105 feet) and rises up to 15 meters (50 feet). Diving to the north of the structure will take you to shallower depths where the seafloor is covered in coral.
