The Blue Hole (Agujero Azul) is one of the most famous dive sites in Lanzarote. It’s located in the Puerto del Carmen area and consists of a 7-meter/23-foot long tunnel which has its entrance at a depth of about 22 meters/72 feet and can be exited at 27 meters/89 feet.

This spot ensures some amazing views – the cave, the deep blue, and wildlife such as angel sharks, rays, groupers, cuttlefish, nudibranchs, seahorses, shrimps, garden eels, and shoals of fish. Luckier ones may even spot a manta ray.

The Blue Hole of Lanzarote has a maximum depth of 33 meters/100 feet. Underwater visibility is good, typically ranging between 15 and 20 meters/50-65 feet.
