Ta'cenc Reef can be found under Gozo's highest cliffs, which makes it a really sheltered dive spot. Nevertheless, it is advised that divers of at least intermediate level venture to explore it.
Ta'cenc Reef is 35 meters deep at most and can be accessed from the shore. It is a dive site with an extremely interesting and varied topography, which includes a canyon and a cave in its shallow part, but whose dominant feature is an incredible wall.
A great dive site for underwater photography, Ta'cenc Reef shelters octopus, groupers, seahorses, lobsters, wrasse and prawns, among others.
