Suzy’s Wreck is a wreck dive site consisting of the remains of a former British cargo ship called SS Rita. The ship went down sometime in the 1950s near the southwest face of Grande Island. It is 130 meters/430 feet long and lies in just 5-12 meters/16-40 feet of water.
The structure has been taken over by wildlife, being covered in mollusks and coral and now home to animals like scorpionfish, groupers, moray eels, and squid. You may also see barracudas in the blue and stingrays resting on the sea bottom.
Suzy’s Wreck is suitable for all divers, including beginners. Visibility is typically low (just a few meters).
