Sunset Reef

Sunset Reef is a house reef located on the southwest coast of Grand Cayman. It has quite an abundance of marine life as well as manmade structures such as the statue of a mermaid called Amphitrite and the wreck of a World War II landing craft.

Some of the marine animals you can spot here include rays, Hawksbill turtles, Caribbean reef squid, garden eels, snappers, parrotfish, dories, and angelfish, among others. Nurse sharks and manta rays have also been seen on occasion.

Visibility: 30 meters/100 feet
