Spanish Anchor

Spanish Anchor is a reef dive site located on the northwestern side of Grand Cayman, off Seven Mile Beach.

The spot was named after what is believed to be a 16th-century old Spanish anchor that now sits buried in coral. Since it’s all covered with coral, it can be difficult to distinguish; just look for the yellow tube sponges that sit atop of it.

This is a shallow dive site; it has a depth of about 12 meters/40 feet. As such, Spanish Anchor is accessible to divers of all levels.
