Just offshore Playa del Carmen divers will find Shark point, one of the most popular dive sites in Mexico.
At the bottom of the site, at a depth of around 25 meters, divers will encounter gentle and curious bull sharks. It truly is amazing experience to get to dive among these amazing creatures. Besides bull sharks, you may also see some stingrays.
The recommended period of time to dive here is November to March.
