Shaab Ruhr is a diverse dive site which has something interesting to show to all kinds of divers, even to beginners. It features both pinnacles and a wall on different sides of the spot.
The east side of Shaab Ruhr has a 20-meter-deep drop-off and this is where divers can enjoy the coral garden which has some huge coral mountains.
The west side of the reef, on the other hand, has smaller pinnacles, a wall of corals and table corals.
Some parts of an old police boat can be found in the south part of Shaab Ruhr.
Numerous types of fish live here, such as Napoleon wrasse, barracudas, tunas, trevally, stonefish, scorpionfish, mackarels, crocodilefish, moray eels, blue-spotted stingrays.
