Secca Del Frate is a dive site off the island of Elba. It takes its name after a rock near the island of Palmaiola. The wall descends to over 30 meters/100 feet and is adorned with sea fans and sea spirographs as well as interesting nudibranchs.
Other marine animals you can see here include moray eels, conger eels, groupers, and redfish.
The current is often very strong here. You may spot some pelagic fish like eagle rays, snappers, and barracudas.
