San Pedro is one of the 1733 Spanish Galleon Fleet that sank off the Florida coast. The wreck lies 1 nautical mile off Indian Key in just 6 meters/20 feet. The site is well buoyed and easily spotted once past Indian Key.

The ship shelters a wide variety of marine life. Some of the animals you may spot here include Hawksbill sea turtles, snappers, barracudas, grunts, damselfish, sergeant majors, butterflyfish, hogfish, wrasses, spiny lobsters, and nurse sharks.

The wreck is protected as part of Florida's Underwater Park System.
