The Rodeo 25 is a Dutch freighter built in 1956 that also went by the names Nore, Booker Trojan, Caricom Adventure, Cari Gulf Venture, and Windward Trader. In 1990, the Pompano Rodeo Reef Committee scuttled the ship and turned it into an artificial reef.
Today, Rodeo 25 is one of the most popular deep wrecks in the area. The 66 meters/215 feet long ship sits upright on the seabed and allows penetration. The exterior is covered with soft corals and sponges.
The wreck is home to numerous sea creatures, including Goliath groupers, barracudas, and the occasional dolphins, sea turtles, and sharks.
