Puri Jati is one of the best muck dive sites in Bali. The site is popular for its variety of critters such as frogfish, seahorses, batfish, nudibranchs, anemone shrimp, ghost pipefish, and peacock mantis shrimp. It is also home to the elusive mimic octopus. Many underwater photographers come here to see this spectacular animal.
Other interesting creatures you can spot here include lionfish, flounders, snake eels, cuttlefish, squid, squat lobster, coconut octopus, dragonets, and stargazers.
Puri Jati has a shallow depth of fewer than 7 meters/23 feet and is suitable for all divers. Underwater visibility can be anywhere from 5 meters/16 feet to 20 meters/66 feet. The water temperature is about 27° C/80° F or more all year round. The seas are usually flat and calm here.
