Punta Luna is a vibrant dive site located in the south of Tenerife, near the village of Las Galletas. It received its name because of the moon-shaped rock found at a depth of about 16 meters (52 feet). further down is the wreck of the Estorné, a small sailing ship void of fish life.

The spot is teeming with life of all sorts – from schools of grunts to stingrays, tuna, groupers, sea turtles, and octopus.

The maximum depth at Punta Luna is 22 meters (72 feet), with good visibility of about 15 meters (50 feet). Some currents may be present. Best dived on Nitrox.
