Puerto Calero Wrecks

Lovers of wreck diving will love Puerto Calero Wrecks/Harbor Wrecks dive site because this spot offers the possibility of exploring not one but six boats. The boats were purposely sunk in the 70s and 80s to encourage scuba diving in the area. The wrecks are located on the east coast of Lanzarote, next to the harbor in Puerto del Carmen.

The site has a depth of 12 to 40 meters (39-131 feet) and is suitable for experienced divers. The dive typically starts with the deepest wrecks and finished to those closer to the surface. The latter are in good condition.

Angel sharks, stingrays, barracudas, and cardinal fish can be seen around the wrecks.
