Playa Frans

Playa Frans is located between the sea and a large salt lake. The dive site with the same name offers beautiful underwater scenery, with numerous coral formations. At 6 meters/20 feet, the reef starts with a drop-off and at about 11 meters/36 feet, you can see the largest pillar coral of Bonaire. Huge purple sponges can be admired at around 12 meters/40 feet.

Marine life is abundant and some of the most common fish you can see here include blue tangs, black margates, bigeyes, green morays, barracudas, triggerfish, and parrotfish.

Playa Frans has a maximum depth of 35 meters/115 feet and is suitable for experienced divers. The average visibility is 25 meters/82 feet and the current is medium to strong.
