Playa Flamingo is a dive site located off Playa Blanca, in the south of Lanzarote. With a maximum depth of 18 meters and easy shore access, it is perfect for divers of all levels, including novices. The dive starts inside a man-made bay and progresses down a 9-meter wall.
The area is renowned for its abundance and variety of fish life. Trumpetfish, bastard grunts, striped seabream, barracudas, salema porgy fish, sand smelt, bogues, octopus, moray eels, spiny butterfly rays, tunas, angel sharks have been spotted here.
Water temperature at the Playa Flamingo dive site varies between 17° and 24° C/62-75° F.
