Mushroom Forest is probably Curacao’s most popular dive site. It got its name because of the peculiar hard coral formations that over time, have grown to resemble mushrooms. You can also find a large cave called The Blue Room, where you may be lucky enough to spot a sleeping nurse shark.

Marine life is very abundant at Mushroom Forest, and includes species such as trunkfish, yellowtail snappers, porcupine fish, spotted drums, groupers, parrotfish, snappers, spotted moray eels, green moray eels, sea turtles, lobsters, and more.

The site has a depth of about 30 meters/100 feet and is recommended for intermediate divers. Great visibility and warm water all year round.
