Manta Point is – as the name implies – a great dive site for seeing the magnificent manta rays in Madagascar. The cleaning station offers a wonderful show for scuba divers. The best chances to spot them are from March to June, but they are here year-round, nonetheless.
Other marine animals you can see here: whale sharks, devil rays, groupers, tuna, crocodile fish, triggerfish, vase sponges, as well as hard and soft corals.
The maximum depth at Manta Point is 25 meters/82 feet. Good visibility and low current.
Diving at Manta Point is possible at any time of the year. Access is done from the shore.
