Mandy’s Eel Garden is located off West Bay Beach, Roatan. It consists of a swim-through, a wall, and a sandy bottom. With a fairly good amount of things to see in shallow depth and low current, this spot is perfect for beginners. Night dives are often performed here.
You can expect to see creatures like sea turtles, eagle rays, stingrays, octopuses, lobsters, barracudas, parrotfish, scorpionfish, juvenile drum fish, nudibranchs, seahorses, pipefish, and more.
The garden eels that earned this spot its name are located at the sandy bath near the base of the wall.
