Kukulkan Cenote is one of the most popular cenotes in the Riviera Maya region. It is 10 meters deep on average, which makes it suitable for every kind of diver, even for the novice ones. The cenote is also very accessible to reach.

The walls of the Kukulkan cenote are white limestone, and with a visibility in the water that exceeds 25 meters, the light creates some wonderful displays which make for fantastic and otherworldly underwater photographs.

What is really interesting about Kukulkan is that divers go through a halocline, which is the line that separates the fresh water from the salted water.

It is one of the few dives when I have been able to hear something truly amazing around me. The sounds bounces off the cave walls creating a deep echo that almost sound like voices.
