The Koh Bida Nai dive site is one of the most popular diving spots of Koh Phi Phi. Its southeastern side consists of huge coral-encrusted boulders and rocks that have created some interesting swim-throughs. The south offers a beautiful coral garden sloping to 18 meters/60 feet which also features pinnacles and swim-throughs. The north and west faces of the site are made up of vertical walls that go down to 25 meters/82 feet. the walls are covered with soft coral, sea whips, and gorgonian fans.

Marine life includes shoals of golden trevallies, blacktip reef sharks, leopard sharks, sea turtles, barracudas, triggerfish, parrotfish, anemonefish, nudibranchs, frogfish, seahorses, and much more. There have also been reports of whale sharks in this area.

The maximum depth at Koh Bida Nai is 30 meters/100 feet and visibility ranges from 8 to 20 meters/26-66 feet. Water temperature is, on average, about 29° C/84° F year-round. The currents can get strong in this area.
