Dive site in
Improve

The KM Sipadan and Sawadee Wrecks was initially called Sawadee and consisted of two fishing boats sunk here in the 90s. In 2012, a third ship, a former Royal Navy warship called KM Sipadan, was sunk here to create another artificial reef.

KM Sipadan is larger than the other two and measures about 31 meters/100 feet in length. Wreck divers can penetrate the ship.

The three wrecks lie in 24 to 30 meters/78-100 feet of waters. they attract a large number of fish species such as barracudas, trevallies, stonefish, scorpionfish, as well as nudibranchs and other critters.

There’s a mild current in the area and visibility ranges from 3 to 15 meters/10-50 feet. The wrecks can be explored by advanced divers and up.
