Japanese Garden is a dive site located on the south side of Grand Cayman. The spot is named after the many beautiful parches of staghorn and elkhorn corals that resemble a bonsai garden.
The waves and surge have also created a system of tunnels, caves, and caverns, which are filled with marine life.
Some of the creatures you can see include silversides, tarpons, jacks, and Bermuda chubs.
Japanese Garden has a depth of 9 to 15 meters (30-49 feet) and is best dived during the winter months. Also, because of the often huge surge, maintaining a good buoyancy can be hard, so you need to have some experience diving in difficult conditions.
