Il Sifone Cave

Improve

Il Sifone is an underwater cave located off the east coast of Sardinia. It is part of the Supramonte underground cave system and the entrance is right in front of the cliffs in the Mediterranean.

The entrance to the cave is located at a depth of about 20 meters/66 feet and has two areas divers can explore before swimming into a large chamber that has an air pocket.

The cave is filled with lobsters, crabs, shrimps, while outside you may even see some mobulas swimming by.

Il Sifone is recommended for cave divers.
