Hol-Chan

Improve

The Hol Chan Marine Reserve, located south of San Pedro Ambergris Caye, is a perfect spot for snorkeling and scuba diving. Translated as “Little Channel,” Hold Chan exhibits a large variety of corals and fish.

The reserve consists of four zones: Zone A – the coral reef, Zone B – the turtle grass beds, Zone C – the mangroves islands, and Zone D – Shark and Ray Alley.

You can see lots of bucket-list marine animals such as nurse sharks, manta rays, stingrays, sea turtles, barracudas, parrotfish, and others.

Water depth at Hol Chan ranges from about 6 to 11 meters/20 to 35 feet. Visibility is excellent.
