HMS Stubborn is the perfect dive site for the very experienced wreck diver, as the top of the wreck lies at a depth of 45 meters and limits the time spent here to a maximum of 15 minutes.

The wreck was launched in 1942 and several years later it suffered irreparable damage caused by the Japanese Imperial Navy, which lead to its scuttling. The wreck was later used for ASDIC sonar-training purposes.

Divers who adventure to the HMS Stubborn can still see the torpedo tubes and propellers, as the ship is in excellent condition, but the penetration of the wreck is not advised because the passageways are very narrow.

The wreck has plenty of marine life to make things more interesting, such as roman eels, octopus, sea perch, wrasse or parrotfish.
