Helmet Wreck is a wreck dive site consisting of a 57-meter/189-foot-long freighter that was bombed in 1944. The site got its name because of the large number of Japanese military helmets found inside the ship. There are also many other items still inside, including ammunition, rifles, and gas masks.

The middle of the deck is open, so you can enter the ship. The wheelhouse is also penetrable through the roof. However, due to its instability and the explosives inside, it’s best to explore it from the exterior.

The stern of the ship lies in just 13 meters/45 feet of water while its bow rests on the seabed at depth of 33 meters/110 feet. The best time to dive it is from December to June.
