Cenote Dream Gate is part of the Sac Actun system, one of the most extensive underwater cave systems in the world. Considered one of the best cavern dives in Tulum, it has been featured in many documentaries about Mexican cenotes.

Divers visiting this cenote will be amazed by the formations of stalactites, stalagmites, and the crystal-clear water that averages about 26 degrees Celsius all year round. Plus, there are no currents in this 9 meter-deep cenote.

The rock formations are very fragile; divers must have excellent dive skills and admire them from a distance, as even the exhaust bubbles can damage them.

There are a number of facilities available at the Cenote Dream Gate: restrooms, changing rooms, picnic tables, and parking.

To dive here, divers must provide an Open Water scuba diver certification.
