Dirty Rock is a popular dive site located off Costa Rica's Cocos Island. It's a great place to see schoolings of hammerheads and horse-eyed jacks.

The site has depths ranging from 10 to 35 meters and a great visibility of over 30 meters. The current is strong and only advanced divers should venture here.

Turtles, eagle rays, marble rays, reef sharks, whale sharks, hammerheads jacks, and dolphins are just some of the marine animals one can encounter here.

The cleaning stations where bigger species can get a good "grooming" from smaller fish are also part of the many attractions one can enjoy at this impressive dive spot.
