Darwin's Arch

Improve

Darwin’s Arch dive site is one of the best dives in the Galapagos Islands, located off Darwin Island. The depth of the dive ranges from 9 to over 40 meters with a visibility of 10 to 20 meters.

To the east of the arch there's another site called The Theatre where divers descend to approximately 15 meters, looking out into the blue where thousands of fish can be observed. This site is great for drift diving when the current is strong.

The current is moderate to very strong, which makes this site unsuitable for inexperienced divers.

Darwin's Arch is a great place to see different species of sharks (Galapagos, tiger, whale, hammerhead), eagle rays, turtles, and mantas among other marine life.
