Crocodile Island is one of the best dive sites in Boracay. This small, uninhabited island gets its name because of its shape, as it resembles the head of a crocodile.
The site consists of a wall, canyons, and caves. You’ll find numerous marine animals, including colorful corals, sweetlips, snappers, groupers, wrasses, sea snakes, moray eels, and nudibranchs. The walls are adorned with beautiful gorgonians and sea fans.
Crocodile Island can be dived all year round. The water temperature in December/February can drop to about 23° C/73° F but during the rest of the year, it reaches 28°-29° C/82°-84° F. There’s some current at the site. Visibility is outstanding.
