Church Reef is actually made up of two sites: Church Wall and the reef itself. The site is situated on the South Coast of Roatan Island in an area abounding in marine life. Both parts are equally as interesting.
Rays, sea turtles, creole wrasses, spotted drums, glassfish, moray eels, seahorses, and colorful coral are just some of the creatures you can expect to see here.
The site has a maximum depth of 50 meters/165 feet and is suitable for advanced divers. Visibility is very good, peaking at 30 meters/100 feet.
