Improve

No dive has been added to this dive site yet.

This dive site is both the longest and shallowest in Playa del Carmen, with a depth going from 6 meters to 12 meters.

As with most of the dive sites in the area, the visibility is good and it has a current which perfectly allows for some drift diving.

Chun-Zumbul also features a great variety of marine life, being populated with shellfish, moray eels, anemones, barracudas, seahorses, trumpetfish, crabs, grunts, lobsters, parrotfish, groupers, snappers, starfish, flounders and many different types of corals.

The water temperature at this dive spot varies with the season, from 23 to 28 degrees Centigrade.
