Charneca is a renowned wreck dive site in Portugal, out of Porto de Leixoes. The ship measures 34 meters in length, 4 meters in width and 9 meters in height and is covered in algae and sponges, but it may be difficult to spot due to poor visibility. The maximum depth is 14 meters with a visibility maximum of about 5 meters. What's great is that the area is suitable for diving all year round (although May - September would be the ideal period) and it's easily accessible by boat. Good spot for beginners.
You'll most likely see crustaceans, molluscs, and other forms of marine life.
