Cedar Pride is one of the most popular dive sites in Jordan, accessible by boat or from shore. The 74-meter (240-foot) long general cargo vessel was sunk on purpose for divers in 1985 and now lies on its port side in about 26 meters (85 feet) of water.
Cedar Pride is suitable for divers of all levels, from beginners who can observe it from a shallower depth to technical divers that can penetrate the shipwreck.
Since the wreck has been in the water for dozens of years now, it’s encrusted in beautiful coral growth. Soft corals and large sea fans can be seen all around it. The area is also teeming with life; there are schooling fish everywhere, and during night dives tourists can see octopuses and moray eels out hunting.
