Camel Rock is a manta ray cleaning station located in the Alifu Dhaalu atoll, the Maldives. The name comes from the shape of the rock, which resembles a camel.
There’s plenty of marine life in the area, so even if you don’t encounter the mantas, it still makes for a good dive.
This is a shallow dive with the water being only 15 meters/50 feet deep, but the current can be strong. Visibility is usually very good – around 25 meters/82 feet. The water temperature is great all year round, but the best dive period is April through November.
