Blue Magic is located between Kri and Waigeo Islands. It consists of an underwater pinnacle that rises from a depth of 30 meters/100 feet and tops at 7 meters/23 feet below the surface. The pinnacle is covered with a variety of hard and soft corals as well as sponges.
The area is a haven for scuba divers in search of the big stuff. Large pelagics such as reef sharks, manta rays, barracudas, tuna, and jacks are regularly seen here all year round, but especially between October and April. During these months, the blooming plankton attracts even more fish.
Blue Magic is recommended for advanced divers. Currents can get strong here. The site is only accessible by boat.
