Batu Layar is one of the best dive sites in the Perhentian Islands to see a wonderful display of hard corals. The spot features huge staghorn and table corals in perfect condition.
Marine life also includes angelfish, clownfish, lionfish, wrasses, triggerfish, barracudas, groupers, parrotfish, eagle rays, octopuses, and sea turtles.
With a maximum depth of 16 meters (55 feet), Batu Layar is accessible to divers of all levels. Visibility runs from 5 to 20 meters (16-66 feet), and you don’t have to worry about the current. The water is warm all year round and the best condition can be found from April to October.
