Basura is a dive site most suited for macro photographers that can enjoy an array of interesting critters. Look out for the frogfish, mimic octopuses, seahorses, harlequin shrimps, pipefish, bobbit worms, crocodile snake eels, and the rare nudibranchs that call Anilao their home.

The diving depth is 3 to 18 meters/10-60 feet, making it suitable for divers of all levels. There’s no current and visibility is around 10 meters/30 feet. Great for night diving.

The best time to dive here is summer. During the rainy season, there’s many sea urchins you need to want out for.
