Baix de Cols, located on the north-east coast of Spain, is an easy dive with a depth of 12 to 22 meters (40-72 feet). It features a small tunnel at about 15 meters (49 feet) where moray eels, lobsters, and crayfish like to hide. Those that wish to explore more of the area can go 30 meters/100 feet to the east to admire a large rock formation.
The use of a decompression buoy is recommended at Baix de Cols due to the intense boat traffic. Diving is possible year-round and water temperature ranges between 13 and 25° C/55-77° F. The site experienced little to no currents. Visibility is typically poor to moderate and can be anywhere from 6 to 10 meters (20-33 feet).
