Anilao Pier is a top muck dive site located in Mabini, Batangas, the Philippines. The spot was originally known as “Janao-Janao” and while it is now known as Anilao "Pier", it’s not exactly considered a pier dive but rather just a mucky shallow dive. Nonetheless, it’s a really great spot for encountering a multitude of sea creatures such as stargazers, octopus, eels, flounders, crabs, shrimps, molluscs, Bobbitt worms, and sea snails.

With an average depth of just 5 meters, this is a really shallow dive that can be enjoyed by divers of all levels of experience. Be sure to check it out after sunset because all the interesting critters come out at night and there’s also no boat traffic after dark.
