Andrea I in Bonaire is a spectacular dive site featuring many soft corals and hard corals, which provide shelter to several marine life. This is a large site that allows for plenty of room to explore without the risk of bumping into other divers. The shore entry, however, may be a bit difficult.
The maximum depth of Andrea I is around 40 meters (130 feet), but there are shallow parts that beginners can explore too. Beware of the strong currents, though. Visibility is outstanding, averaging 25 meters (82 feet).
Marine life at Andrea I includes green moray eels, sea turtles, blue tangs, anemonefish, rainbow parrotfish, blennies, damselfish, blue jacks, spotted drums, banded butterflyfish, and many other different types of reef fish.
