Only about a 7 minute boat ride from Sosua Beach, 3 Rocks is close and easy for all levels of divers. It is also the number one spot for snorkeling tours so expect a bit of boat traffic.
From the mooring lines it is an easy 15 foot drop to a sandy bottom. There are "3 Rocks" that are populated with reef fish and it makes a great spot for photos. The shallow side of the "rocks" is at 15 feet and the deep side is 24 feet.
Continue down from the second rock and you will come across two beautiful coral heads in 42 feet of water.
Continue further down and you will enter "Coral Gardens", with a maximum depth of 64 feet.
