Busy summer time attraction spot on the southern most part of West Lake Okoboji. Large 16.970 acres of sandy beach front though, with direct access street parking. Public restroom on site. Sand bottom until you hit 8ish FOW then weed bed begins. Lake deepens into Browns bay at the 5 lake buoys, at roughly 16 FOW. Careful, as boaters will line the buoys during busy season. Perfect spot if you’re a metal detector!
