Diving holiday Flores MANTA ALLEY Indonesië Sporty dive site Manta Alley is one of the most iconic dive sites of the Komodo National Park on Indonesia. The site, as the name suggests, is best known for its manta rays. It isn't rare to see 20 or so during a dive. Especially if you come during the mating period that lasts from September to January. Manta Alley is also home to reef sharks, groupers, wrasse, large schools of trevallies and much more. Manta Alley has a beautiful reef with different types of corals and lots of invertebrate life. The alley itself is formed by a corridor between the rocks. Particulars The dive site Manta Alley is close to a group of small rock islands on the south side of the island of Komodo. Your dive will be phenomenal, even if the manta rays don't show up. There is always plenty of big and small marine life to be found in this site and the underwater scenery, reef and corals are stunning. Warnings The water of Manta Alley can be a little cold at times. Pretty strong currents.
