Description
Started the dive from submerged rock at (39°11'33"N 20°09'14"E). Continued diving S SW following the western ridge of the rocks to just below 25m until we reached a small overhang. Followed the overhang until we reached the first cave with entrance between 26m and 29m. Continued the dive around the tip of the underwater promontory at around 30m changing direction back towards NE. Found a number of crevasses in the rock on the eastern side and a second large cave between 26m and 30m, with a further passage into the rock visible further below. Continued the dive E NE until we reached the main cliff. Here we found a further cave just east. Penetrated it at 30m depth, for only about 5 meters, but there was plenty more to explore. Left the cave swimming W along the main wall and decreasing depth to about 15/20m. Encountered entrance to large cave which is also accessible from the surface. Continued back W to the various rocks which we circled during the final part of the dive. We loved the dive. A large seal was seen from our boat, I was happy to not have intruded in every corner of the caves we came across.
