Hanging Gardens is one of the best dives off Sipadan Island. Located in the south part of the island, it features a beautiful wall with an array of hard and soft corals, sea fans, and barrel sponges.
Sweetlips, damselfish, Chromis, clownfish, and lobsters and among the common encounters here. If you’re lucky, you may also spot numerous sea turtles on a single dive. It’s also a good spot to dive with sharks.
Access to Hanging Gardens is done from the shore. Depth ranges from 5 to 40 meters/16-130 feet. Visibility is excellent (30 meters/100 feet). Diving is possible all year round and there’s little to no current at the site. Recommended for advanced divers.
