Shinwa Maru is a 120-meter-long wreck of a Japanese WWII cargo ship. It is located in Manokwari, West Papua, and rests on her port side at a depth of 34 meters/112 feet. Jacks and macro life have taken over the ship.
Artifacts like ammunition, sake bottles, kitchenware, diving helmets, small tanks, and car batteries are still found on the wreck.
The Shinwa Maru wreck is accessible to advanced divers. Visibility is around 15 meters/50 feet.
