Tiger Tail Seahorse

The tiger tail seahorse is a species of fish that can be found in India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam, around the coral reefs or on subtidal aquatic beds.
Its name was given thanks to its interesting black and yellow striped tail. The striping of the tail may not be visible in all the individuals from this species and the body color may change with maturity.
They are listed as vulnerable by the IUCN due to over fishing and habitat destruction. Also the seahorse is used in traditional Chinese medicine.
