The mole cowry is a species of sea snail that grow to a maximum size of 105 millimeters. Their pattern and color vary, but the basic color is brown or yellowish brown with several yellow or light brown bands. They occur in the Red Sea, in the Indian Ocean, and in the western Pacific Ocean.
